Jimmy Pritchett serves as a Retail Development Associate at Retail Strategies, where he plays a crucial role in fostering economic growth for the communities he serves. In this position, Jimmy acts as an extension of his client cities’ staff, leveraging his extensive real estate knowledge to drive retail development initiatives. His primary focus is on developing and nurturing relationships with developers and retailers.
He graduated from the University of Alabama, earning a degree in Business Administration with a major in Economics and a specialization in Real Estate. Jimmy’s background in brokerage and property management provides a solid foundation for his work at Retail Strategies.
Before joining Retail Strategies, Jimmy honed his skills at Red Rock Realty Group in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as both a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Property Manager. He sought to optimize asset operations as he managed over 700,000 square feet of property across 13 locations. As a broker, his experience in advising clients throughout the purchasing, selling, and leasing processes proves invaluable in his current position.
Jimmy’s professional journey also included a stint as a Junior Business Development Associate at Waller Group in Dallas, Texas, where he gained expertise in investor relations and property analysis. His diverse real estate background, coupled with his experience in data analysis and client relations, equips him well to contribute to the success of both Retail Strategies and the communities they serve.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jimmy has demonstrated a commitment to leadership and community engagement. He has been involved with the American Legion’s Alabama Boys State since 2014, first as a participant and later as a counselor, showcasing his dedication to mentoring and developing young leaders.
